KANYE'S APPOLOGY TO TAYLOR AND FANS....check it out

"I'm sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom," Ye wrote. "I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would've said. She is very talented! I like the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she's in the bleachers! I'm in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!

He continued, offering an apology, but explaining that in the "real world" he's "just real."

"I'm sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor 2mrw. Welcome to the real world. Everybody wanna booooo me, but I'm a fan of pop culture," West continued. "No disrespect, but we watchin' the show at the crib right now 'cause ... well, you know! I'm still happy for Taylor Boooyaaawwww!!! You are very, very talented. I gave my awards to Outkast when they deserved it over me. That's what it is!!! I'm not crazy yall. I'm just real. Sorry for that. I really feel bad for Taylor and I'm sincerely sorry. Much respect."

The show went on without West, and Beyonce went on to take home the most awards, alongside Green Day and Lady Gaga, with three for her hit single "Single Ladies," while Green Day took home honors for "21 Guns", and Gaga took home the Best New Artist award.

The ceremony was closed out with a performance of the Big Apple anthem, "Empire State of Mind," by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys. But, once again, another awkward moment took place. Much like Kanye did earlier, Lil Mama took a page outta his book and came onstage uninvited. As the pair wrapped the performance, Lil Mama came onstage for its closing, and stood next to them as they stood there in their b-boy stance. It was unplanned, but she made it seem like it was.

Here's the winner's list:
