50 Cent’s Book, The 50th Law, Lands Atop New York Times’ Best-Sellers List


50 Cent's latest project, The 50th Law book, debuted in the top tier of the New York Times' best-sellers list last week, a first for the rapper, reports ThisIs50.com.

The new book -- penned alongside writer Robert Greene who wrote the popular book 48 Laws of Power -- is 50's strategic advice book on life and how to become successful.

Fif's 304-page book landed at #5 on the paper's "Hardcover Advice " list, alongisde Steve Harvey's Act Like a Lady, Hill Harper's The Conversation, and Julia Child's re-issue of Mastering the Art of French Cooking Vol. 1 (which topped the chart).

In its second week, The 50th Law fell three spots to #8.

The book, released by HarperStudio, is out now and retails for $19.99. But, is currently on sale through Amazon.com for just over $11.

Over the weekend, 50 Cent returned to his old Jamaica, Queens neighborhood where he hosted "Forever Young Day" for hundreds of children.

"Next year I'm gonna get to do it on the actual date that I want," 50 Cent said. "When they see this as a successful event they won't give me such a hard time next time."
